Kim is a partner who practices in the areas of land development and municipal law. She was called to the Ontario bar in February 2000.
Kim’s extensive experience allows her to provide practical, strategic advice to her clients in a wide range of land development and municipal matters. She has particular expertise in the area of aggregate resources approvals, assisting clients with navigating the regulatory framework that applies to the aggregate industry.
Kim has acted as lead counsel in a number of complex and high profile Ontario Land Tribunal hearings including urban boundary expansions, quarry approvals and mixed-use developments.
Kim has been repeatedly recognized as a leading practitioner in this area including by The Best Lawyers in Canada and Chambers Canada.
Kim is active in the legal profession, including having served as Co-chair of the Law Society’s Eight Minute Municipal Lawyer program for a number of years. She is also actively involved with the Ontario Stone, Sand and Gravel Association.
