Jeff Davies was recently featured in Law Times, where he expressed his views on the merits and effects of Bill 52, the Protection of Public Participation Act, that was recently passed by the provincial government. Among Jeff’s concerns were the costs of motions, potential development delays and access to justice. In Jeff’s opinion, the Bill is “largely a feel good-legislation because Ontario has not seen a history of SLAPP’s.”
