Principal Responsibilities:
- Researching planning background facts, timelines, legislation, regulation, by-laws
- Analyzing policy, zoning, and comparative projects
- Preparing public notices, affidavits, hearing documents, maps and memoranda
- Ensuring accuracy and correctness of consultant reports
- Assisting with file and case management
- Attending hearings with our lawyers
- Supervise and train co-op planning students

Knowledge & Competencies
- A degree in Urban Planning.
- Have or working towards MCIP / RPP.
- Sound judgment.
- Self-motivated.
- Attention to detail.
- Superb communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, ArcGIS/QGIS, ArcGIS Online, and Adobe Creative products
- Interest in teamwork and leadership principles.
