Kyle is a partner at the firm practicing in the areas of land use planning and development law, and real property and municipal litigation. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2013 after completing a clerkship with the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto.
Kyle’s practice covers both land use planning and litigation across Ontario. He applies his in-depth experience and understanding of the legal and land use planning systems to help developers, builders and homeowners resolve complex property and development disputes. He works with developers to obtain Planning Act approvals on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. Kyle also provides guidance on issues ranging from easement, boundary and title disputes, to zoning, parkland, Building Code Act and real estate matters, as well as municipal by-law prosecutions under the Provincial Offences Act.
Kyle regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal on land use planning matters, and before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal on civil litigation matters.
Kyle volunteers with Law Help Ontario to provide legal advice to low-income litigants in the Superior Court of Justice, and with the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program to assist with refugee applications.
